Job Description
Join a dynamic team dedicated to the art of pain management and the treatment of chronic pain conditions and neurological disorders. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent patient care in a fast-paced environment. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with experienced pain doctors and neurology specialists, helping patients manage symptoms such as back pain, neck pain, and headaches.
ResponsibilitiesRoom patients and collect vital signs, including conducting blood pressure tests.Screen patients by asking specific questions provided by the healthcare provider.Document patient health information using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems, primarily Athena.Complete urine screens for drug testing, including specimen collection, labeling, and preparation for shipment.Set up injection trays for physicians and assist with potential injections or blood sample collection.Essential SkillsProficiency in using Electronic Medical Records (EMR), particularly Athena, though experience with other platforms is acceptable.At least 1 year of medical assistant experience in a fast-paced environment.Additional Skills & QualificationsMedical assisting back office experience is required.Phlebotomy experience is preferred but not requiredPay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $20.00/hr.
