We offer women's health services, obstetrics, and gynecology. **A caregiver in this position works 8 a.m. -- 5 p.m.** A caregiver who excels in this role will: + Assist with performing screening and treatments by gathering information related to health maintenance, collecting specimens and documenting patient care. + Update health maintenance at patient visit, accurately identify medication changes and update allergy information at each visit. + Monitor and communicate changes in patient condition. Administer specific medications under direction of provider. + Maintain equipment and medical supplies, including reordering, stocking, cleaning and troubleshooting. + Maintain examination areas. + Assist in pre-visit planning by updating the health maintenance tab. + Perform administrative or clerical duties as assigned, including filing, reception, scheduling, data entry and patient registration. Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: + Graduate from an accredited Medical Assisting program + Military training as a Hospital Corpsman (HM), Combat Medic (68W) or Medical Service Technician (4N0X1) will be considered + Successful completion of Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Heart Association (AHA) within new hire period + Current demonstrated clinical proficiency + Completion of a clinical externship (extensive clinical experience may be considered in lieu of a formal clinical externship) Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: + CMA, NCMA, CCMA certification + Successful completion of Cleveland Clinic externship Our caregivers continue to create the best outcomes for our patients across each of our facilities.
