Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our urgent care clinic team. The role involves assisting in a fast-paced environment, providing vital support to healthcare professionals, and ensuring efficient patient care.
ResponsibilitiesCollect patient demographics based on symptoms.Assist with electronic health records management.Perform medical assistant duties, including taking vitals.Provide exceptional customer service at the front desk.Utilize medical terminology accurately.Support healthcare providers with patient care.Essential Skills1+ year experience in a fast-paced clinic.MA diploma or certification.Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems.Strong understanding of medical terminology.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in customer service within a healthcare setting.Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment.Work Environment
The work environment involves working onsite at a primary care clinic, with a typical schedule of Monday to Friday, from 8am to 5pm. The role requires managing a caseload of 20 to 30 patients per day. Employees enjoy benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage, a 401K plan, holiday pay, and PTO. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
