UPMC Children’s Community Pediatrics is hiring a Full-Time Medical Assistant to support the office in Monroeville.

Weekend availability required to support the hours of operation.

Rate and Title will be determined based on education and experience.

Clinical and injection experience preferred. Pediatric experience is a plus.

Responsibilities:

Patient Care: Perform phlebotomy, EKGs, labs, and assist physicians with procedures. Document patient information and relay instructions. Clinic Operations: Prepare and clean patient rooms, manage inventory, and ensure infection control. Administrative Tasks: Schedule appointments, verify insurance, manage charts, and handle front office duties. Compliance: Adhere to HIPAA, OSHA, CLIA, and PA Department of Health regulations. Maintain strict confidentiality. Support: Assist patients with walking, transfers, dressing, and collecting specimens. Answer calls and provide patient education. Medication Administration: Administer injectable medication and vaccines under physician supervision.
