UPMC Children’s Community Pediatrics is hiring a Limited Part-Time Medical Assistant to support the office in West Mifflin.

Weekend and evening availability required to support the hours of operation.

Clinic Hours: 4:30p-9p mon-fri 9:30a-6p sat, 9:30a-6p sun

Responsibilities:

Patient Care: Perform labs, and assist physicians with procedures. Document patient information and relay instructions. Clinic Operations: Prepare and clean patient rooms, manage inventory, and ensure infection control. Administrative Tasks: Schedule appointments, verify insurance, manage charts, and handle front office duties. Compliance: Adhere to HIPAA, OSHA, CLIA, and PA Department of Health regulations. Maintain strict confidentiality. Support: Assist patients with walking, transfers, dressing, and collecting specimens. Answer calls and provide patient education. Medication Administration: Administer injectable medication and vaccines under physician supervision.
