Demonstrate ability to work effectively as a multidisciplinary team member. Assist registered nurses, nurse practitioners, athletic trainers and physicians with assessments, examinations, and treatment. Execute duties including but not limited to crutch teaching, dressing changes, EKG and assistance with splint/cast application. Maintain and prepare rooms between patient procedures. Assist with preparation of equipment and procedures. Monitor, stock and restock supplies as needed. Perform point-of-care tests, collect and label urine and blood specimens accurately, administer vaccines as ordered by nurse practitioner/physician. **Required Skills** Requires: Two years of college, or equivalent. Bachelor's degree preferred. High School diploma with medical assistant training program certification or EMT/Paramedic certification will be considered. Certification as a medical assistant or certification as an EMT is required. Three to five years of related experience preferred. Experience with administering all forms of vaccines preferred, including reconstitution of live vaccines.
