Medical Affairs Lead (m/f/d)

In support of our existing team, we are currently looking for a dynamic and visionary Medical Affairs Lead to drive the success of our general medicine and specialty therapeutic areas.

The successful candidate will report directly to Country Medical Director and will assume a crucial role in developing and executing strategies across various product portfolio, collaborating with cross-functional teams to bring tangible benefits to patients.

Responsibilities

Disciplinary and leadership of Medical Advisors responsible for General Medicine and Specialty portfolio

Oversee the development and execution of Country Medical Affairs Plan for assigned franchises

Work cross-functionally with relevant internal stakeholders and provide medical strategic input to commercial, access, clinical and regulatory stakeholders to ensure timely and appropriate access as well as launch readiness.

Collect, collate and analyze insights from external stakeholders to identify unmet needs and data gaps.

Ensure scientifically accurate, relevant and balanced medical education pertaining to the therapeutic area.

Manage budgets and resources within the Medical Affairs Gen. Med. and Specialty department

Organizes regular team meetings for relevant training, sharing of best practices, reinforcing compliance matters and discuss therapeutic area strategies.

Foster a positive and collaborative work environment

Ensure that all Team members adhere to relevant policies, ethical guidelines, and regulatory requirements

Mentor and develop Team members to reach their full potential

Qualifications

MD, Pharmacist or PhD in a life science

Industry experience in Medical Affairs is required, at least 5 years and Therapeutic area experience is desirable

Strong strategic thinking skills and ability to develop and implement effective strategies

Demonstrated ability to manage and motivate a team

Demonstrated ability to work effectively in high-performing teams and in a matrix organization

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions

Strong organizational and time management skills

Strong ethics and integrity

Commitment to continuous learning and development
