As a Medical Advisor in General and Specialty Medicine (G&SM) at [Company Name] in Norway, you will play a pivotal role in advancing our mission to improve patient outcomes through innovative medical strategies. You will be the medical expert in one or more therapeutic areas within our diverse and expanding portfolio, with an initial focus on chronic inflammatory diseases.
Responsibilities:
Network Development:Build and maintain relationships with medical professionals and key stakeholders in the healthcare community across Norway.Scientific Exchange:
Engage in scientific discussions to bridge the gap between clinical practice and research, enhancing patient access to our medicines.Knowledge Sharing:
Collaborate with scientific leaders and decision-makers to address unmet medical needs and close data gaps.Internal Collaboration:
Assist colleagues in understanding clinical practices and realities that impact external stakeholders, ensuring alignment with our medical affairs agenda.Clinical Research Support:
Collaborate with the clinical research department to identify potential clinical trials and support the development of patient-centric solutions.Compliance:
Ensure adherence to all applicable SOPs, rules, and regulations in all activities.
Qualifications:
Educational Background:MD, PhD, or pharmacist with a proficient understanding of the drug development process and relevant diseases and therapies.Functional Competencies:Strong understanding of scientific principles and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.Flexibility and dynamism to adapt in a rapidly changing environment.Goal-oriented with a strong focus on patient and stakeholder needs.High ethical standards and a commitment to integrity in all interactions.
Personal Attributes:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Norwegian and English.Strong cross-functional collaboration skills.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Open-minded with the ability to express ideas clearly and effectively.Travel Requirements:
