We are excited to announce an opportunity for a highly motivated and customer focused individual to join the Medical team at AbbVie Finland as a

MEDICAL ADVISOR Gastroenterology

Your responsibility is to produce and share medical information, as well as to provide scientific support to both external and internal stakeholders.You establish strong relationships with experts in the gastroenterology therapy area in Finland and work in close contact with them.You collaborate with AbbVie's team and healthcare professionals to improve standards of care. You ensure that you stay well informed with the latest development on the field by following scientific publications and by attending congresses and seminars.You understand the main characteristics of modern Medical Affairs work and are willing to build new ways of working and develop yourself and your team in an ever-changing working environment.You work closely with colleagues in Medical Affairs, Sales and Marketing, and Market Access.You report to the Head of Medical Affairs in Immunology.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, we expect you to have experience from the pharmaceutical industry as well as knowledge of the ever-changing healthcare environment.The position requires a higher education degree in the field of medicine, life sciences or other applicable fields as well as a strong scientific orientation. From your background, you can be a medical doctor, pharmacist or life sciences expert, for example. Further scientific training (a PhD degree) is an advantage in succeeding in the task.Understanding inflammatory immune-mediated diseases and their treatment will be considered as an asset.Along with an independent and open-minded work attitude, you need strong interaction and teamwork skills, as well as a readiness to work in a matrix organization.Understanding relevant information from research articles and literature in the field, as well as having strong communication skills in Finnish and English, make it possible to succeed in the work.You are interested in working in a commercial environment and making an impact on patient care in collaboration with experts in the field.You are at your best when facing new opportunities.
