Medical Administrator
Description We are looking for a detail-oriented and bilingual Medical Administrator to join our team in Santa Cruz, California. In this long-term contract position, you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth administrative operations within a healthcare setting. This is an onsite opportunity that requires excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: • Manage patient scheduling and appointments with accuracy and efficiency. • Handle incoming calls and correspondence, providing excellent customer service to patients and healthcare providers. • Maintain and update patient records using relevant software tools, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality. • Coordinate administrative workflows to support clinical staff and ensure seamless operations. • Prepare and process documentation, including billing and insurance forms, adhering to healthcare regulations. • Utilize Office tools such as Outlook, Excel, and Word to create reports and manage daily tasks. • Ensure the reception area is organized and welcoming for patients and visitors. • Collaborate with team members to address operational challenges and improve processes. • Monitor inventory levels for office supplies and place orders when necessary. • Assist in onboarding and training new administrative staff as needed. Requirements • Must be bilingual, with fluency in English and another language. • Proven ability to multitask and work efficiently in a high-pressure environment. • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and Adobe. • High school diploma or equivalent required. • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in administrative roles, preferably in healthcare or hospitality. • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. • Detail-oriented demeanor with the ability to adhere to a business casual or scrubs dress code. • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with patients, staff, and external stakeholders.
