Join a supportive and collaborative team committed to delivering high-quality care to patients in a home health setting. We are currently seeking a reliable, organized, and friendly Medical Administrative Assistant / Receptionist to support our daily operations.
Position Summary:
The Medical Administrative Assistant / Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for patients and families and plays a critical role in supporting clinical and administrative staff. This position requires strong communication and multitasking skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage a variety of administrative duties in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Requirements
+ Greet and assist patients, staff, and visitors in person and via phone
+ Communicate professionally with physicians’ offices, clinicians, patients, and internal team members
+ Prepare and organize Start of Care packets and other clinical documentation
+ Attach orders, notes, and records to patient charts accurately and timely
+ Assist with supply ordering and inventory management
+ Support scheduling efforts, including coordinating visits and updating calendars
+ Maintain organized and efficient office operations
+ Other administrative duties as assigned
Qualifications:
+ High School Diploma or GED required; college coursework or degree preferred
+ Prior experience in a healthcare or home health / hospice setting strongly preferred
+ Knowledge of general office procedures and medical terminology
+ Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written
+ Ability to multitask and remain detail-oriented under pressure
+ Experience with EMR systems;Home Care Home Baseexperience is a plus
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
