Humana is looking for a Medicaid Senior Project Manager to join the Project Management team! As a Medicaid Senior Project Manager, you
will manage all aspects of a project, from start to finish, to ensure it is completed on time and within budget. You will primarily support
Medicaid state implementations.
**Where you Come In**
As a Medicaid Senior Project Manager, you will design, communicate and implement an operational plan for completing the project, monitor progress and performance against the project plan, take action to resolve operational problems and minimize delays. In this role you will also identify, develop and gather the resources to complete the project. You will prepare requirements and develop project schedules as well as communicate with project teams, leaders and other operational areas in the organization to secure specialized resources and contributions for the project.
Key Role Functions
+ Oversee project teams in an indirect reporting relationship and manage conflicts within groups
+ Efficiently identify and solve project issues and embody and demonstrate strong leadership qualities
+ Prepare resource and capacity planning at the program and project level
+ Lead teams in understanding and defining requirements related to project risk
+ Design and maintain project documentation
+ Have a range of subject matter expertise relative to both Claims Administration & Payment Integrity (CAPI) and Humana as well as Medicaid implementations
+ Champion the stakeholder’s/business owner’s needs and goals during the project
+ Act as an advocate for all leaders within CAPI, working closely with senior leaders and IT partners to ensure project estimations, creation of CBAs, understanding of return on investment/project prioritization, and securing of funding
+ Conduct meetings and prepare reports to communicate the status of the project
+ Set priorities, allocate tasks, and coordinate project staff to meet project targets and milestones
+ Be a voice of CAPI and an advocate for the Project Management team and the impacted business areas
While this role 100% remote, candidates that reside within 50 miles of Louisville, KY may be expected to be in office as needed. All others will remain 100% virtual/remote.

**Required Qualifications – What it takes to Succeed**
+ Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience managing large and complex scale projects
+ Agile methodology training (course, class or program) or 1+ year of agile methodology experience
+ Proficient in MS Office Products (Outlook, Lync, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
+ Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
+ Strong collaboration and facilitation skills
+ Strong time management skills
+ Strong analytical and reasoning skills
+ This is a work from home position that will require the possibility of travel up to 10%
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Experience with Medicaid state implementations
+ PMP and/or Six Sigma certification
+ Project Management Institute certification
+ Progressive experience managing portfolios of similar or dependent project
+ Proven ability to understand capacity and effectively plan resourcing
+ Proven ability to understand cost benefit analysis and return on investment
+ Working knowledge of ServiceNow (business and IT perspective), Azure Boards, and qTest

+ Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM. Time zone may alter the schedule depending on needs of the work. Overtime can be expected periodically, with some during weekend release turns.
+ Training: On-boarding with the team and an overview of how we handle our projects. The expectation is that there will be limited training needed for this position.

· Associates who live and work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota will be provided a bi-weekly payment for their internet expense.
· Humana will provide Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates with telephone equipment appropriate to meet the business requirements for their position/job.
· Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information

**Pay Range**
The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.
$86,300 - $118,700 per year
This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
