Eurofins BioPharma Product Testing Australia / New Zealand provides contract GMP testing to human and animal pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device and complimentary medicine manufactures, as well as an extensive range of SPF and other cosmetics testing, both in-vitro and in-vivo in accordance with a range of local and international standards. The range of testing includes microbiological and chemistry on raw materials, in process and finished products, complemented by product formulation services. We operate out of sites in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Auckland, which are all GMP licensed by local regulators and are accredited to ISO 17025. In addition to the provision of world class analytical testing, the laboratories also provide consultative services to their clients made available by a team of highly qualified scientists.
Job DescriptionThe Media Technician will be responsible for ensuring all work undertaken within the Media department is performed to a high standard and complies with current written procedures. In addition, the Media Technician will be involved in calibrations, quality control of media, ensuring stock levels are sufficient and maintenance of equipment.
Reporting to the NSPT Department Manager, key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Providing a high level of support to internal and external stakeholders.Ensuring that work performed within the area complies to SOP’s/methods. Completing internal equipment calibrations and records.Preparing media and reagents.Conducting routine QC analysis of all media/reagents and report deviationsSigning off Media Quality Certificates.Cleaning and sterilising reusable laboratory ware.QualificationsDiploma or Degree in Science/Laboratory Techniques (Microbiology) (or similar) or equivalent experience preferred.About you:
