Job Description

The Media Specialist supports a wide range of paid media initiatives and serves as a key liaison between the Restaurant Marketing team and agency partners. This role is responsible for coordinating media planning, tracking performance, maintaining budgets and timelines, and developing reports and presentations to support strategy and execution.

Your Impact and Responsibilities:

Support media planning and execution across national and local initiatives, serving as SME for assigned marketsManage incremental media requests for new restaurant openings, remodels, and recruiting plans from initial request through invoice reconciliationMaintain and update financial tracking documents, collaborating with Finance, Accounting, and Marketing teams to ensure billing accuracy and timely adjustmentsMonitor local media spend and alert team members/agencies of adjustments needed across marketsCoordinate NRO media timelines and campaign planning, ensuring alignment between internal teams and agency partnersTrack campaign materials and deliverables (e.g., flowcharts, contracts) and collaborate on evolving media reporting processes and local initiativesDevelop presentations and support materials for internal meetings, training sessions, and cross-functional collaborationQualifications1-3 years’ experience in media planning at an advertising agency or in-house marketing teamBachelor's degree in advertising, marketing, or related fieldProficiency in Microsoft Office: Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word, with a working knowledge of media mathFoundational understanding of digital and traditional media tactics including paid, social, programmatic display and video, streaming audio, linear TV, AM/FM radio, and OOHDetail-oriented, organized, and able to manage shifting prioritiesSelf-driven, flexible, and highly energetic with strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with billing reconciliations, accruals, and invoice managementAdditional Information
