Your tasks:

 

Ensure the maintenance, installation, and commissioning of technical facilities of RTL city, production, and external projects, including broadcast and media equipment systems. Ensure the installation and verification operations of new equipment as well as the documentation and training of new users. Participate in the design, development, and deployment of broadcast solutions within the media environment and elaborate on the maintenance procedures. Ability to rapidly diagnose problems, resolve or provide alternative solutions to maintain production continuity and meet project deadlines. Participate to the team’s operations and contribute to the commissioning of the media projects in the EMEA area.

Your profile:

 

You hold a B. S. in Electronic Engineering or Computer Science You have 3 to 10 years of experience in the broadcast and media environments or similar positions. Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English. French, German or Luxembourgish to be considered as an asset. Desire to learn and evaluate new technologies, systems, and workflows. Good understanding and know how to effectively use design, schematic diagrams, and technical manuals. Work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines according to timetables. You are a great team player who is also capable to deliver great individual performances. Willing to work to a flexible schedule and on-call support of a 24x7x365 broadcast operation. Willing to travel to remote project sites.
