Responsible for executing service level agreements (SLAs) and supporting the optimization of media initiatives across various platforms. Focuses on tactical implementation, data tracking, and cross-functional coordination to ensure campaign accuracy.
This role will oversee the daily operations needed to plan and activate campaigns for a large Retail Media Network. The focus is end- to-end campaign management, from brief submission through activation. The main priority is project management including setting clear expectations, communicating risks and dependencies, and elevating campaign/workflow trends for the business to make meaningful decisions.
Here's what you'll do:
Vendor Relations
Communicate effectively with client and internal stakeholders throughout the campaign lifecycle.
Lead tracking key vendor agreement deliverables and dates in Campaign Tracker and following up with responsible task owners.
Own the Retail Media Network deadlines, across all channels, to the advertisers’ satisfaction.
Project Management
Manage day-to-day activation guidance across internal/external stakeholders throughout the campaign lifecycle.
Send weekly updates across teams on campaign status, timing, deliverables, trends, etc.
Identifies efficiencies and improvements to processes and workflows. Works with internal and external teams to update and help communicate/train teams on process changes or refinements.
Assist Activation team in the communication of campaign optimizations.
Execute the billing and budget tracking for the Media Solutions team.
Campaign Performance
Lead weekly calls with sales and internal teams reviewing campaign status, timing of deliverables, risks, delays, etc.
Identify campaign trends and insights to help teams understand the health of the business.
Regularly assess and adjust strategies based on performance data to optimize budgets and maximize KPIs defined in client strategies (ROAS, TACoS, NTB, CTR, CNVR). Manage and optimize display campaigns across multiple retailers and devices.
Technology & Tools Enablement
Evaluate, recommend, and implement marketing technologies (e.g., CRM, automation platforms, analytics tools).
Serve as a liaison between marketing and IT/operations to ensure seamless integration of tools.
Maintain campaign-related systems and troubleshoot issues as needed.
Train team members on new tools and best practices.
Additional responsibilities as assigned or as the business needs evolve.
Here's what you'll need:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Business Administration or related area.
Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
3+ years digital media experience in campaign management, marketing operations or martech, preferably from an agency or Retail Media Network.
Wide-range of platform experience/knowledge across ad serving (DCM, Criteo, CitrusAd), DSP (DV360, TTD), and paid social (Facebook/Instagram, Pinterest).
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Attention to detail and effective planning, organization, prioritization and project/time management skills to meet deadline driven timelines.
Strong project management and organization skills with a proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously where priorities can change quickly.
Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required. Advanced experience in Excel preferred.
Strong knowledge of marketing software and tools or CRM.
Understanding of digital media, marketing tactics, operational process and enabling technologies.
Passion for emerging marketing technologies and innovation.
Willingness to travel, including overnight stays, up to 10% depending on business needs.
