About the Team

The ZF Off-Highway Solutions Minnesota Inc. team designs and manufactures hydraulic and electrohydraulic components, controls, and brake systems for off-highway machines. As a Test Engineer, you will interface with product engineers to review product requirements and develop test plans.  Build and qualify devices using hydraulic and electrohydraulic test fixtures, controls, and data acquisition equipment.  Analyze data and assist with iterative design to meet requirements.  Develop test circuits, equipment, software and processes.  Perform advance planning for test programs.  

 

What you can look forward to as a Mechatronics Test Engineer:
•    Interface with product engineering teams
•    Develop and document test procedures and equipment
•    Refine existing test methods to replicate real world usage conditions
•    Planning and execution of test plans for product development
•    Evaluate test data and create reports

 

Your Profile as Mechatronics Test Engineer: 

•    Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
•    0-2 years of relevant experience 
•    Ability to research, interpret, and implement test standards
•    Ability to identify, analyze and solve problems
•    Knowledge of mechanical design, development of 3D models, hydraulic theory and system design
•    Knowledge of automation, instrumentation, control systems, PLC programming and industrial electrical wiring
•    Knowledge of LabVIEW programming

 

The expected base compensation for this role is $69,575 - $85,000 annually.  Actual base compensation within the identified range will vary based on factors relevant to the position.
