What you’ll be able to do:

Design and release CAD models for mechanisms. Develop and test new designs, ensuring they support current and future products. Iterate designs rapidly using your strong fundamentals knowledge in statics, dynamics and mechanics of materials. Write python/matlab code to collect, parse, and analyze large datasets. Collaborate with the design team to realize concepts, using rapid prototyping and performing necessary engineering calculations. Use engineering analysis and simulation to enhance product quality early in the design process. Prepare design documentation, including part and assembly drawings, for manufacturing. Support projects through tooling, testing, and manufacturing phases. Create and review technical drawings and specifications using CAD software. Work with multi-disciplinary teams, vendors, and contractors. Evaluate project costs, prioritizing design effectiveness and safety. Verify design accuracy and document processes. Manage bills of material and maintain accurate records.
