Position Summary
We are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Test Engineer to join our team in Yvelines, France. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, execution, and reporting of mechanical testing and qualification activities. You’ll work closely with internal teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to develop reliable, high-performance thermal systems.


Responsibilities
  Design and execute test and qualification programs based on technical specifications.   Lead or assist in prototype fabrication and assembly.   Develop comprehensive test procedures and risk analyses.   Conduct and supervise qualification and validation tests both in-house and on-site.   Coordinate with internal teams and supervise subcontractors for external testing.   Report on test progress, issues, and improvement opportunities.   Identify and evaluate new suppliers and products based on testing requirements.   Manage procurement activities aligned with company standards.   Provide technical support to R&D, Innovation, and Project teams.   Ensure documentation complies with legal, normative, and contractual requirements.   Log non-conformities and generate HSE observation reports.   Participate in safety inspections and supplier qualification audits.   Evaluate risks and opportunities linked to testing activities.
Skills / Qualifications
  Engineering or physics degree with a focus in thermal, mechanical, or electrical disciplines.   Proven experience in a laboratory or R&D environment.   Strong skills in data analysis, metrology, and uncertainty measurement.   Knowledge of vacuum technologies is an advantage.   Proficiency in MathCad, FreeCAD, and LabView.   Fluent English (minimum B2 level); French proficiency is a plus.   Team-oriented mindset with strong communication and organizational skills.
Education & Experience
  Degree: Engineering or physics degree (thermal/mechanical/electrical specialization).   Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years of relevant experience in R&D or test engineering.
