Job Requirements

Background:

Looking for an experienced Rotating Equipment Technician to carry out maintenance, troubleshooting, and inspection of rotating machinery, as well as associated static and piping systems. The ideal candidate will hold a valid vibration analysis certification and possess strong knowledge of machinery diagnostics in an industrial environment.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Perform installation, alignment, maintenance, and repair of rotating equipment (pumps, compressors, turbines, gearboxes, etc.).Conduct routine and predictive maintenance using vibration analysis and other condition monitoring tools.Diagnose and troubleshoot issues in rotating and associated static equipment and piping systems.Prepare technical reports based on findings and recommend corrective actions.Ensure compliance with OEM specifications, industry standards, and client requirements.Assist in overhauls and shutdown maintenance activities.Calibrate and maintain condition monitoring instruments and ensure accurate data collection.Adhere to safety, environmental, and quality standards at all times.

Work Experience

Required Qualifications & Competencies:

Technical diploma or certificate in Mechanical or related engineering discipline.Minimum 5 years of experience in rotating equipment maintenance and condition monitoring.Certified in Vibration Analysis (ISO Category I or II).Familiarity with static equipment and piping systems in the oil & gas or petrochemical sector.Knowledge of international codes (API 610, 617, ASME, etc.).Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Good written and verbal communication in English.
 Good to have skills:Exposure to Downstream Facilities Experience with SharePoint for document managementBasic Safety & HSE Training: (e.g., confined space entry, working at height, H2S awareness).Experience with Shutdowns & Turnarounds in oil & gas plants
