About the department:
You will be part of the Production Support team at Novo Nordisk, working in a fast-paced and collaborative environment. Our team is responsible for ensuring the validated state of utility systems, including clean and black utilities such as purified water, clean steam, HVAC, and electricity. Based in Karaj/Iran, you will interact with key stakeholders across production, quality, IT, warehouse, and technical support teams. With a strong focus on teamwork and a proactive mindset, we aim to deliver reliable and efficient utility systems that support Novo Nordisk’s mission to improve patient lives.
The position:
As a mechanical technician at Novo Nordisk, you will:
Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on mechanical systems while ensuring compliance with documentation standards.Monitor and manage alarms within Facility Monitoring Systems (FMS) and Building Management Systems (BMS), conducting daily and periodic checks as needed.Support PM and Spare Part Engineers, along with HVAC and black utility engineers, in managing work orders and spare part flow.Conduct challenge tests during start-up, maintaining 5S standards in utility areas, and facilitating the installation and qualification of facility production support systems.Ensure quality and compliance in all maintenance activities, including the management of spare part purchases.Requirements:
An associate degree in Mechanical Engineering. Experience in controlling and monitoring equipment in both GMP (pharma, food, or cosmetics) and non-GMP environments.Self-motivation, independence, and a results-oriented mindset.Strong communication skills and a positive team spirit.Proficiency in English is an advantage.Working at Novo Nordisk:
