The Boeing Test & Evaluation (BT&E) organization is hiring for a Mechanical Systems Design and Analysis Engineer to join the Flight Test Instrumentation & Data Systems (I&DS) Design & Planning team in Tukwila, WA. The team is responsible for designing the application of instrumentation, installation of test equipment, and integration of data system infrastructure onto a variety of aircraft systems and components to measure and collect flight test data. This is an excellent opportunity to work in the fast-paced area of Flight Test and a chance to work on multiple programs across the enterprise.
BT&E is currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Associate and Experienced level Mechanical Systems Design & Analysis Engineers.
Position Responsibilities Include:
Support the development and documentation of mechanical, electrical, and fluid system environmentSupport the development, maintenance, or modification of system designs/proposals to provide design documentation and high-level requirements to downstream users/customersPerform detail design development and modification of mechanical and fluid system installationsPerform spatial integration at system or component level and modification of production aircraft mechanismsAssist in preparing technical documents for mechanical components and systemsAssist in supporting proposal preparation and new business development effortsWork under general supervisionWork amongst cross-functional teamsBasic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science 1+ years of experience in mechanical engineering1+ years of experience with engineering and design software (i.e. CAD/3D packages (UG/NX, CATIA, SolidWorks, CREO, etc.)Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
3 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience1+ years of experience working conceptual, preliminary, and detailed design including 2D drawings and 3D deliverablesExperience working in multidisciplinary teams, a strong desire to work with technical and non-technical audiences, and be a self-starterExperience in Test and Evaluation EngineeringDrug Free Workplace:

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range for associate level: $81,600 – $110,400
Summary pay range for experienced level: $102,000 - $138,000
