Kforce's notable innovative EV company is looking for a Mechanical Superintendent to join their Austin, TX team. This is role is 100% onsite at their Austin Location and will require 50 - 60 hours of work per week. Currently, they have 50-60 projects in flight and they are not slowing down. The Superintendent will act as general contractor on construction side - very involved in coordination with engineers, quality, commissioning, trade partners, and understanding manufacturing and production needs to avoid impacting them. Day to day, but schedule may depend on the projects: * Head out to the field * Check in * Meet contractors early to make sure they are set up for success * Write tickets for coordinating with other trades - if needing scaffolding, for example * 7:40am daily meeting * Key design problems are discussed * Help drive commissioning and quality - facilitate coordinating with internal commissioning team * Hot items that need to be redlinesd - clearly communicate problems * Write daily reports * Understand scopes, drawings, quality, and ensure the people are installing correctly according to work plan * Coordinate with teams for scaffolding, etc and communicate well with other team members/stakeholders
