**Description:** You will be the Mechanical Quality Inspection Associate Manager for the Grand Prairie, Texas team\. Our team develops and implements robust inspection methodologies to deliver high\-quality products to customers\.
**What You Will Be Doing**
As the Mechanical Quality Inspection Associate Manager, you will lead a team of Quality Inspectors to ensure compliance with specifications\. You will drive quality excellence, leveraging your machining and inspection expertise to identify and mitigate risks, and collaborate with cross\-functional teams to optimize quality processes\.
Your responsibilities will include:
\- Leading a team to develop and implement inspection methodologies and processes
\- Ensuring projects are completed on schedule and following established procedures
\- Providing direction and assistance to subordinates as required
\- Reviewing documentation to ensure quality standards are met
\- Serving as a liaison with internal teams and stakeholders

MUST BE A U\.S\. CITIZEN \- This position is located at a facility that requires special access\. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance\.
**Basic Qualifications:**
\-Bachelor’s Degree in STEM or above or equivalent experience / combined education
\-Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance
\-Quality experience with an emphasis on machining and inspection
\-Experienced as a team lead and facilitator
\-Ability to interpret drawings and specifications
\-Experience in making risk\-based data driven decisions
\-Demonstrated presentation skills
**Desired Skills:**
\-Bachelor's Degree or higher in STEM related field preferred\.
\-Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing \(GD&T\) expertise
\-Coordinate Measuring Machine \(CMM\) programming experience
\-Advanced knowledge of AS9100 standard and implementation of Quality Management Systems
\-First Article Inspection \(FAI\) experience
\-Special process engineering experience
\-SAP application experience
**Security Clearance Statement:** This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration\.

**Ability to Work Remotely:** Onsite Full\-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility\.
**Work Schedules:** Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees\. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed\. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits\.
**Schedule for this Position:** 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
