XDB Platform team is a part of R&D organization. We are a multidisciplinary team committed to deliver innovative technologies related to Electron & Ion Beam Microscopy. We craft and deliver building blocks for complex solutions applied in Material Sciences, Life Sciences and Semiconductor business.

The Position:

As a Mechanical/ Mechatronic Engineer, you will be responsible for crafting, developing, and testing mechatronic systems and components. You will work alongside versatile teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects and contribute to the overall growth and success of our organization.

Key responsibilities:

Develop new products while adhering to internal/external standards and processes, considering cost, specifications, and timelines.Closely cooperate with other mechatronic and mechanical designers and colleagues from development.Actively search for technology opportunities and improvements to reduce product price and improve overall performance.Design products with serviceability, manufacturability, and reliability in mind.Build technical product documentation for newly crafted products and prepare documentation for archiving.Apply mechatronic, thermal, and dynamic principles to development projects, translating theoretical knowledge into practical applications.Contribute to FMEA and Safety Risk Assessments.Actively participate in an intensive testing plan and engage in problem-solving related to testing and reliability.Support the development of project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring adherence to project achievements and objectives.

Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering or a related field with equivalent experience. Master’s degree is preferred.At least 1 year of experience or TFS Intern experience preferred.Knowledge of practical use of technical documentation, basic design principles, and technical materials.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and propose effective solutions.Proficiency in MS Office, including MS Excel, MS Word, and MS Visio.Experience with 3D CAD modeling software at the level of module and assembly creation.Ability to present results effectively.Proficiency in English – able to communicate easily.
