Manpower Engineering is currently working with a global design and manufacturing company that creates composite and metal aircraft structural assemblies and subassemblies. Due to the continued growth of the organization, they are hiring for a Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineer to join their dynamic team.
 

Job Title: Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineer

Location: North Charleston, SC

Pay Range: $100,000-130,000

What's the Job?

Responsibilities:
▪ Leading all engineering activities as a project manufacturing engineer.
▪ Understanding the technical aspects of the project & SOW .
▪ Analyzing mechanical assembly engineering data within project models.
▪ Problem analysis and engineering solutions.
▪ Understanding designs of assembly tools and positioning tools.
▪ Participating in the characterization processes for pricing and assembly costs.
▪ Knowledge and familiarity with the world of assembly tools.
▪ Conducting failure investigations.
▪ Understanding and overseeing manufacturing processes.
▪ Familiarity with chemical finishing processes for metal parts.

Requirements:
▪ Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or Aeronautics.
▪ Relevant industry experience – at least 4 years.
▪ Proficiency in CAD software – CATIA is an advantage.
▪ Experience in managing engineering projects in production aligned with machining processes – an advantage.
▪ Excellent people skills, ability to integrate into teamwork, and work under pressure.
▪ Self-learning abilities
