Perform installation, maintenance, and repairs on machinery, equipment, facility structures, plumbing, and electrical systems in compliance with all safety regulations, company policies, and procedures. This is an entry-level role with training provided to help you develop the skills needed to grow within the maintenance team. **What You'll Do** As a Maintenance Technician (Entry Level), you'll play a key role in keeping our facility running smoothly and safely. You'll receive hands-on training and guidance from experienced team members as you: + Perform basic preventative maintenance and minor repairs on facility equipment, structures, and grounds. + At automated locations, assist with the maintenance of components like sensors, switches, and push buttons. + Help inspect and monitor refrigeration systems (including ammonia, Freon, or CO2 setups). + Maintain material handling equipment according to manufacturer and company guidelines. + Take on other maintenance-related tasks as needed—there’s always something new to learn! **Additional Opportunities** As you grow in your role, you may also: + Use power tools and welding equipment to cut or join metal parts. + Operate lift equipment or rental machinery as needed to complete maintenance tasks. **What We're Looking For** We're seeking someone who’s eager to learn and ready to roll up their sleeves. The ideal candidate has: + Some experience or education (like trade school) in building maintenance, equipment repair, or refrigeration—preferred but not required! + A willingness to learn and perform routine maintenance with guidance. + Comfort using hand and power tools. + Basic computer skills. + Good communication skills and the ability to work well with others. + A detail-oriented mindset with strong organizational skills. **Working Conditions** + You’ll work in a variety of environments—from cold storage (-20°F/-25°C) to warmer dry storage (up to 100°F/37°C). + Company-provided personal protective equipment (PPE) and freezer gear will be provided. + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. (heavier loads may be required depending on the site). + Flexible schedule availability, including weekends if needed. + Some sites may have higher noise levels or require working at heights with proper training and equipment.
