We’re looking for multiple Mechanical Fitter to join our high performing New Building Solution team in Melbourne, Victoria.

We have full time permanent and fixed term positions available.

No two days are the same as you manage the equipment installation of KONE’s elevator products, across low-rise housing through to the world’s tallest skyscrapers.

What will you be doing?

Completing the full installation of new elevators, escalators and auto walks from commencement to commissioning.Manages the equipment installation environment during installation activitiesManages on-site communication with the customer for day-to-day installation and logistical activitiesResponsible for reporting installation progress to the installation supervisorCarrying out all activities in accordance with KONE policies and procedures including health, quality and safety standards  Carries out the installation according to pre-determined method instruction and schedule

What are we looking for?

3+ years mechanical experience - lift industry experience preferred

Certificate 3 in mechanical fitting/fabrication engineering desired

Trade tickets desired - dogging, advanced rigging

Motivated and self- starter who can manage workload and competing priorities

Commitment to working safely with a strong focus on quality

A customer service mindset

Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
