**Aerotek is hiring Mechanical Installer** **Job Description** The Mechanical Installer II position requires a high level of technical skill and mechanical inclination. The role involves working with both hand and power tools and previous experience in installations, such as machinery or robotics, is essential. **Responsibilities** + Install 20 robotic arms and approximately 40 sub-stations and internal site fencing. + Perform tasks on mezzanine and sub-mezzanine levels. + Use power tools, manage materials using a pallet jack, and assist project teams by commissioning and cleaning warehouse spaces. + Build robotic arms and stations. + Move, strap, and catalogue materials using pallet jacks. + Commission towers according to diagrams using hand and air powered tools. + Follow step-by-step instructions. + Run wiring for power supplies. + Engage in general installation labor, which may include moderate to heavy tasks, heavy lifting, material handling, and construction. **Essential Skills** + Ability to work with hand and power tools. + Installation experience, preferably with machinery or robotics. + Capacity to lift 40-50lbs consistently. + Experience working 8-hour days on a hard cement floor. + Good attendance record. + Ability to follow directions effectively. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Flexibility to work in multiple positions, from inventory to housekeeping. + Pass Avik/Amazon Criteria testing (38). **Why Work Here?** Gain valuable insight into the material handling industry while contributing to exciting projects. The environment can be messy, loud, and crowded at times. A high level of visibility requires a professional and presentable demeanor. Required attire includes PPE such as a high visibility vest, glasses, hard hat, gloves, earplugs, and composite toe shoes/boots. Jeans and t-shirts are acceptable, but avoid loose and baggy clothing. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
