**Job Title: Mechanical Installer II** **Job Description** Join our team as a Mechanical Installer II and play a crucial role in an exciting automation upgrade project. You will work on-site installing robotic arms and other equipment, contributing to a major upgrade at a distribution center. **Responsibilities** + Install robotic arms, sub-stations, and internal site fencing on the loading docks. + Utilize power tools, pallet jacks, and hand and air-powered tools for various tasks. + Assist project teams with commissioning, cleaning, and building robotic arms and stations. + Follow detailed instructions and run wiring for the power supply of products. + Move, strap, and catalogue materials using pallet jacks. + Maintain a clean and safe work environment. **Requirements** + Previous installation experience, particularly with machinery and robotics. + Ability to lift 40-50lbs consistently and work 8-hour days on a hard cement floor. + Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of blueprints. + Good attendance record and ability to take direction well. + Experience working with power tools and material handling. **Why Work Here?** This project provides a unique opportunity to gain valuable experience in the material handling industry. Expect a noisy and sometimes crowded environment. Work will mostly occur on mezzanine and sub-mezzanine levels, with a mix of AC and open air. The job is physically demanding, involving a lot of walking on cement surfaces. You'll interact with project managers, installers, and material handlers. The dress code includes jeans, steel-toed shoes, and safety gear such as high visibility vests, safety glasses, and hard hats. The standard shift is from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, with a 30-minute lunch break, typically totaling 40 hours per week. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract position based out of Richmond, Texas. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
