Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Mechanical Inspector to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the quality and compliance of mechanical systems in construction projects. Your expertise will contribute to the successful delivery of high-quality installations while collaborating with a team of professionals dedicated to excellence.

Inspect mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection, to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standardsReview contractor shop drawings and submittals to verify alignment with project requirementsMonitor the installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems, confirming proper functionality and performanceIdentify and report non-conformances, coordinating with contractors and engineers to implement corrective actionsConduct thorough inspections and maintain detailed reports, logs, and records for quality control and compliance trackingWitness and document critical tests, such as pressure tests, leak tests, and system start-upsVerify the quality of materials, workmanship, and equipment installations to ensure adherence to project specificationsCollaborate with project teams to resolve technical issues and ensure timely project completionStay updated on relevant codes, regulations, and industry best practicesParticipate in project meetings and provide regular status updates to stakeholders

QualificationsBachelor's degree in Construction, Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, or a related fieldMinimum of 15 years of experience in construction inspection, specifically related to mechanical systemsProficiency in Microsoft Office software and familiarity with project management systemsStrong knowledge of mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protectionExperience in reviewing contractor shop drawings and submittals (preferred)OSHA 10-hour training certification (preferred)Excellent attention to detail and analytical skillsStrong communication skills, both verbal and writtenAbility to read and interpret technical drawings and specificationsFamiliarity with industry standards, codes, and regulations related to mechanical systemsWillingness to work in Riyadh, Saudi ArabiaAbility to work collaboratively in a team environmentStrong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple prioritiesProblem-solving skills and the ability to make informed decisions
