Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Mechanical Inspector to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In this critical role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and compliance of mechanical systems in various construction projects throughout the region.

Conduct thorough inspections of mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection, to verify compliance with project specifications and industry standardsReview and analyze contractor shop drawings and submittals to ensure alignment with project requirementsMonitor the installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems, confirming proper functionality and performanceIdentify non-conformances and collaborate with contractors and engineers to implement effective corrective actionsMaintain detailed inspection reports, logs, and records for quality control and compliance trackingWitness and document critical tests, such as pressure tests, leak tests, and system start-upsVerify the quality of materials, workmanship, and equipment installations to ensure adherence to project specificationsParticipate in project meetings and provide regular status updates to stakeholdersStay updated on relevant codes, regulations, and industry best practices in Saudi ArabiaCollaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and ensure timely project completion

QualificationsBachelor's degree in Construction, Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, or a related fieldMinimum of 15 years of experience in construction inspection, specifically related to mechanical systemsProficiency in Microsoft Office software and familiarity with project management systemsStrong knowledge of mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protectionExperience in reviewing contractor shop drawings and submittalsOSHA 10-hour training certification (preferred)Excellent attention to detail and analytical skillsStrong communication skills, both verbal and writtenAbility to read and interpret technical drawings and specificationsFamiliarity with industry standards, codes, and regulations related to mechanical systems, particularly in Saudi ArabiaKnowledge of local building codes and regulations in Saudi ArabiaAbility to work in diverse cultural environmentsValid work permit for Saudi ArabiaWillingness to travel within Riyadh and surrounding areasStrong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities efficientlyProblem-solving skills and the ability to make informed decisionsAbility to work collaboratively in a team environment
