**Job Description**
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Mechanical Inspector to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the quality and compliance of mechanical systems in construction projects. Your expertise will contribute to the successful delivery of high-quality installations while collaborating with a team of professionals dedicated to excellence.
+ Inspect mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection, to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards
+ Review contractor shop drawings and submittals to verify alignment with project requirements
+ Monitor the installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems, confirming proper functionality and performance
+ Identify and report non-conformances, coordinating with contractors and engineers to implement corrective actions
+ Conduct thorough inspections and maintain detailed reports, logs, and records for quality control and compliance tracking
+ Witness and document critical tests, such as pressure tests, leak tests, and system start-ups
+ Verify the quality of materials, workmanship, and equipment installations to ensure adherence to project specifications
+ Collaborate with project teams to resolve technical issues and ensure timely project completion
+ Stay updated on relevant codes, regulations, and industry best practices
+ Participate in project meetings and provide regular status updates to stakeholders
**Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's degree in Construction, Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
+ Minimum of 15 years of experience in construction inspection, specifically related to mechanical systems
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office software and familiarity with project management systems
+ Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection
+ Experience in reviewing contractor shop drawings and submittals (preferred)
+ OSHA 10-hour training certification (preferred)
+ Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
+ Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
+ Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
+ Familiarity with industry standards, codes, and regulations related to mechanical systems
+ Willingness to work in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
+ Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
+ Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
+ Problem-solving skills and the ability to make informed decisions
