Job Description:
Urgently seeking a Quality Inspector to be based on-site full-time for approx. 3 months supporting a customer program in Royston.  The desired candidate will have previous experience in working in an Aerospace Inspection role, performing inspection to engineering drawings, customer purchase order, industry standards and specifications.

 

Supporting the final inspection process, support will include:

 

Visual inspectionDimensional inspection, using hand measurement equipmentReview completeness of manufacturing documentation (e.g. CofCs, routers, etc.)Document inspection, preparing non-conformance reports as necessaryUpdate customer systems

 Experience requirements:

 

Demonstrate evidence of more than 2-years in the last 5-years of aerospace experience and poses experience of working within an engineering environment for a minimum of 3 years.Demonstrate knowledge of interpreting engineering drawingsDemonstrate knowledge of geometric, dimensioning and toleranceDemonstrate evidence of product specific knowledge and experience in small detailed, formed parts.Knowledge / experience of AS9100 and AS9102 standards highly advantageousStrong communications skills, both written and verbal 

This activity is inside IR35 (Umbrella Company Required)
