We are seeking a **Mechanical Foreman** with experience in the **Bradenton, FL 34212** area. Pay rate ranges from $35-$38/hr based on experience. **Local Hires Only** As a Mechanical Foreman for our Civil District you will contribute to our team by: + Layout, excavation and install of underground utilities. The layout and install of above ground mechanical piping and supports. + Experience in the installation of ductile iron, PVC and C900 pipe and fittings + Must have experience in layout of above and underground piping systems, installing pumps and mechanical systems. + Grade checking and use of standard pipe lasers, use of GPS modeling equipment, and level & grade rod for calculating elevations and slopes are among the list of tasks that each crew member must perform. What you will bring to the role: + Able to read and understand construction drawings and specifications + Safety certifications (OSHA) a plus. + Able to create a safe working environment, and understand OSHA regulations + Ability to take off and communicate tool and material requirements to the supervisor + Must have experience setting mechanical equipment including boilers, pumps, expansion tanks, dirt/air separators, and heat exchanges + Ability to set up and perform piping tests + Must have reliable transportation to jobsite + Must be self-motivated and have the ability to work well with others + Ability to identify potential issues during installation and elevate them to the Foreman/Gen Foreman + Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen PCL is an innovative, safety-oriented company comprised of people who find passion in their profession and take pride in doing great work everyday.
