With potential for other project/outage work.Project Dates: Staggered start dates from Early August, running approximately until Late-August Roster:  Days/Nights, 12-hour shifts Competitive Rate: EBA Casual Rates $72.20 p/h Flat Rate Other Benefits: Flights from Perth, Camp accommodation + Meals Provided  

 

THE OPPORTUNITY

Downer’s Energy & Utilities business has opportunities for casual Mechanical Fitter to join us for a shutdown in Tom Price, WA. This role will see you responsible for carrying out structural repairs and modifications to conveyor frames, pulleys, and associated components to support the belt splice process. 

 

ABOUT YOU

Site Proficient:  Have experience working as a Mechanical Fitter within a heavy industry environmentTechnically Proficient: Experienced in the safe use of hand tools and equipment required to perform tasks with a Mechanical Fitter trade qualification Team Oriented: Have an ability to work effectively within a team with well-developed communication skillsWorkplace Safety: Committed to safety and wellbeing of yourself and your colleaguesQualifications: Trade Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade, hold full working rights in Australia, White Card, Fire certificate, Working at Heights, Confined Space and Gas Test Atmospheres tickets (within 3 years validity)
