We welcome individuals who are currently pursuing an undergraduate (BS) or masters (MS) degree to participate in 6 month co-op opportunities at our site in Latham, NY + Assist in the design, assembly, and testing of cryogenic systems and superconducting magnets. + Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues related to cryogenic and superconducting systems. + Collaborate with engineers and scientists to develop and implement design solutions. + Conduct experiments and tests to evaluate the performance and reliability of prototypes. + Maintain and calibrate lab equipment to ensure accurate and reliable measurements. **You're** **the right fit if:** + Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology or Electrical disciplines. + Hands-on experience in a laboratory setting, setting up and executing test protocols. Knowledge of safety protocols and standards in a lab environment + Experience with 3D modeling and other engineering tools.
