Job Requirements

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

Strong knowledge of product development process, manufacturing processes, engineering techniques, processes, and tools, including project planning tools.Extensive knowledge of 3D CAD software, preferably Solid works, Solid Edge Technical documentation - Creating drawings, specifications, manuals, test reports, technical report, writing ups, product catalogues etc.Expertise in design for manufacturing, tolerancing analysis, FMEA and quality assurance Working experience in an international team, CFT.Strong knowledge of Requirements Management, Change Management, Outsourcing Management & project Management Communication & Presentation skillStrong computer skills and proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint

DESIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES 

Hands-on experience in rapid prototyping in a workshop environment is preferred (3D printing, mechanical assembly, operating manual and power tools, etc.) Knowledge of certification process, international standards, Machinery Directive and other industrial equipment safety rules. Knowledge of ERP, SAP Knowledge of quality management system standard - IATF 16949:2016 / ISO 9001:2015 for the automotive industry

EDUCATION

Engineering Bachelor's degree or equivalent vocational training in Mechanical, Mechatronics Engineering or related field Complementary technical education / certificates will be positively valued Master’s Degree in Mechanical / Mechanics, Industrial Equipment or related field will be a plus 

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

+7 years of experience in mechanical product design, development and testing Worked in Material Handling Equipment for Warehouse ManagementDesirable experience with assembly lines and non-standard tests within international automotive companies Availability to travel to customer / Supplier

LANGUAGES OTHER REQUIREMENTS 

Fluent in English, both written and spoken Knowledge of Spanish, Catalan, Polish, Chinese or German will be positively valued
