**Academic requirements:**
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering or related career.
**Qualifications & Knowledge:**
- Fundamentals of GD&T (Use and interpretation).
-Stacking tolerance analysis-basic assemblies.
- CAD proficiency (NX, CREO, SOLID WORKS).
- Drawing interpretation.
- Experience with FEA.
- Ability and desire to work collaboratively within cross-functional project teams comprised of national and international team members.
- Exhibiting developing mechanical aptitude and a continuous drive to learn is required.
- Profiecient English.
**Abilities & Preferred Skills:**
- Proficiency in spoken and written English.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
-High interest in the tools of the trade.
- Problem solving.
- Effective communication.
- Ability to travel 15% of the time (International and domestic travel) is required.
- Willingness to learn skills outside of core discipline.
**General Objective**
You will provide support to all technical activities including operations, purchasing, quality, marketing in line with the NPD team.
**Duties & Responsibilities**
+ Provide multiple design, manufacturing and process options to engineering problems.
+ Work with a project leader to support all department requests including operations, purchasing, branding, quality marketing and NPD Engineering.
+ Work with a marketing and reliability team to develop comprehensive test plans to evaluate all aspects of product specifications, performance and reliability.
+ Work directly with Milwaukee Tool Test Lab and technicians to conceptualize and develop new tests and improve existing tests.
+ Analyze data sets using practical and statistical means.
+ Use mechanical design and stress analysis, material selection and heat treatments, experimental techniques, statistical data analysis other engineering tools to develop theories and support conclusions.
+ Source and help qualify new existing suppliers, quality and manufacturing, both international and domestic, to develop new products and processes to support/develop improvements to current products and processes.
+ Present technical data/conclusions, concepts and other project related material to cross-functional team members as well as members of management.
+ Create solid models, drawings, work instructions, standards and other engineering documents in support of any technical requirements.
+ Plan, prioritize, manage and execute all engineering deliverables to meet overall project timelines.
+ Participate in product development meeting and may make recommendations for product design changes to improve and assembly.
+ Work with manufacturing department to troubleshoot, updates, retrofits, configurations, method development and process parameter development.
