Your Capabilities and Credentials Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word and Excel). Design experience using AutoCAD 2020, or a more recent version, and Revit experience is a definite asset. Effective communication skills are essential, including interpersonal and verbal abilities within a multi-discipline team environment. Prior experience in the construction industry would be an asset. - Knowledge or familiarity with National and Alberta Building Codes, plumbing codes, fire codes, energy codes would be considered an asset. Knowledge or familiarity with LEED standards, ASHRAE, ASPE and NFPA would be considered an asset. Self-motivated and self-starter with a strong work ethic. Eager to learn with strong listening, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Must be well organized to be able to prioritize multiple tasks, work in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate a flexible approach to work assignments. Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering required. Registered as an Engineer in Training required. Interest/experience in the application of green engineering principles; LEED AP certification is a definite asset.

Typical office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time. Field work may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather.
