At Brightstar, we are searching for a dedicated Mech Eng III to join our dynamic team. This role offers you the chance to work on groundbreaking projects and contribute to the development of innovative electromechanical products and systems. **Candidate must live in or near West Greenwich, Rhode Island.** **Responsibilities** - Participate in the research, design, and development of electromechanical products and/or systems. - Perform activities in design, fabrication, operation, application, installation, and repair of mechanical and/or electromechanical products from concept through production. - Engage in product development, ensuring both overall product functionality and detailed documentation. - Take part in mechanical engineering design projects, including sustaining engineering, product modifications, product improvements, and new product development. - Develop robust mechanical engineering solutions and crafts that strictly adhere to craft specifications while anticipating future product features and functionality. - Estimate project hours, project costs, product costs, and timeliness for semi-complex projects. - Develop part and assembly designs, drawings, and documentation. - Generate bill of materials and engineering change orders. **Qualifications** - Advanced knowledge in electro-mechanical components, assemblies, and related documentation. - Ability to support production and manufacturing processes. - Proficiency in 3D CAD tools, CAD modeling, and Microsoft Office applications. - Experience with sheet metal, plastic, and die-cast part development. - Strong proficiency in SolidWorks is highly desired. - 5-8 years of experience in the field. - Preferred Bachelor's, or equivalent, in ME **Keys to Success** • Building collaborative relationships • Decision making • Drive results • Foster innovation • Personal energy • Self-leadership \#LI-JM1 At Brightstar, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $59,795 - $122,400. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable. Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program. Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles are eligible for discretionary bonuses. In addition, we offer employees a 401(k) Savings Plan with Company contributions, health, dental, and vision insurance, life, accident, and disability insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid time off, wellness programs, and identity theft insurance.
