Kforce has an enterprise client seeking a Mechanical Engineer III in Bellevue, WA. Summary: This company builds and operates software, hardware, and processes that run the global network of fulfillment centers that move many billions of units of inventory, employ tens of thousands of people, and ensure that customers get what they want when we promised we would get it to them. We do this by building automated solutions to handle things that technology does well, while relying on people to handle things that humans do well. We are seeking a seasoned Mechanical Engineer III to conceive, develop, prototype and deploy data-collection systems at scale. These systems will collect information about products which will be used by machine learning/machine vision systems to guide robotic manipulation of objects, among other applications. These data collection systems will be installed into various facilities across the network to capture the types and quantity of data needed to automate processes.
