This Position reports to:

Your role and responsibilities (Mandatory)

In this role, you will have the opportunity to create and modify the standard designs of equipment, systems, or installations, including standard specifications for manufacturing, fabrication, or construction, using standard design concepts. Each day, you will design engineering solutions, including drawings and calculations according to contract specifications. You will also showcase your expertise by contributing to design reviews and design verification and modifying the design, as necessary.



The work model for the role is: hybrid

This role is contributing to the Robotics business in Vietnam. Main stakeholders are our customer and project management team.

You will be mainly accountable for:Develop new robotic solutions for electronics applications together with a team of engineersCollect and analyze customer requirements and provide technical and experienced engineering solutions.Initiatively develop and maintain the customer relationship from technical sideEnsure that design and engineering is in accordance with applicable codes, standards, practices and contractual requirementsPrepare technical presentations and presents to customers and the teamPrepare all documents (including BOM) for production and delivery related to the projectSupervising supplier for mechanical components manufacturing, assembly and testingConduct quality control procedures to ensure the robotics system meet design specifications and industry standardsIdentify and resolve issues in the manufacturing & assembly process to minimize downtime and improve productivityEnsure all manufacturing processes and workshops comply with health and safety regulations

Qualifications for the role Bachelor’s degree in industrial automation, mechanical engineering, robotics or a related fieldProficient in 3D Software like AutoCAD, Solidwork, Inventor, NX, Catia, … Proficient in RobotStudio softwareMinimum 5 years working experience in electronics industry automation in particular robot related, from design to manufacturingIn-depth understanding of design, machining and assembly processes. Knowledge of electrical and control equipment. Experienced in workshop/site installation management, experienced in managing contractorsFluent in English, capable of reading and express technical solutions in English. Chinese language skill is an advantageGood communication and teamwork skills, with high flexibility and working hard and under pressure. Proactive, and self-motivatedCustomer orientated preferred
