We are seeking a passionate and experiencedMechanical Engineerto join our dynamic product development team, where our mission is to send mothers and infants home healthy. You will play a pivotal role in designing cable harnessing systems, collaborating with suppliers, and verifying medical devices. Your work will directly contribute to the design, development, and validation of cutting-edge electromechanical systems, ensuring compliance with FDA regulations and industry standards.
Your role
Design and develop Infant Care products as part of a collaborative hardware engineering team.
Create and review engineering drawings, applying GDT principles, tolerance stack-up analysis, and material selection.
Perform mechanical calculations to support modeling, part analysis, and design FMEAs.
Develop and execute test plans, document results, and verify design performance.
Apply knowledge of industrial-grade plastics/polymers and their manufacturing principles.
Partner with suppliers to ensure prototypes and test samples align with program goals.
Contribute to understanding patient and customer needs, product technology, and intellectual property.
Your skills and experience
6 yearsof experience in mechanical design, including components and subsystems.
Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math).
Proven experience in mechanical testing within regulated industries (medical device, aerospace, or automotive).
Expertise in cable harnessing design usingCreo.
Proficiency in 3D CAD modeling tools for mechanical component and subsystem development.
Strong communication skills and a results-driven mindset.
