The incumbent will be a core member of the MIC HW team designing mechanical parts, collaborating and managing suppliers, and carrying out the verification of medical devices. Unlock your ambition, turn ideas into world-changing realities, and join an organization where every voice makes a difference, and every difference builds a healthier world. **Job Description** **Roles and Responsibilities** : + Design and develop Infant Care products, as part of a larger HW team. + Conceptualize and create mechanical designs, mechanical components, and subsystems using Mechanical Engineering principles. + Create & review engineering drawings, understand GD&T principles, tolerance stack-up analysis, material selection & selection of manufacturing processes. + Hands on 3D CAD modeling to design and develop mechanical components and sub systems. + Perform necessary mechanical calculations to meet the needs of modelling, part analysis, design FMEAs, etc. + Develop test plans and reports and perform testing and verification of designs. + Obtain and leverage knowledge of industrial grade plastics/polymers and their design & manufacturing principles. + Work with suppliers to ensure test samples are consistent with the goals of larger programs, projects or initiatives. **Qualifications & Essential Skills:** + Mechanical engineering or closely related STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) major. + Effective oral and written technical communication skills + Experience designing mechanical parts in Creo + Excellent teamwork, coordination and communication skills + Willing to come onsite a minimum of 3 days a week and work directly with our development team located in Waukesha, Wisconsin + Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
