POSITION OBJECTIVE
Responsible for designing, quoting, purchasing, validating and putting in place the right process, tools, fixtures, equipment and machines. Create an environment that will allow us to optimize the safety we can offer to our colleagues, achieve high quality standards and improve our process efficiency all the way to world class level.
Should always consider the following key concepts: lean manufacturing (VA/NVA), continuous improvement, 5S, total quality management and one-piece flow
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Create a working environment that is clean, well-organized and that prevents accidents and reduce safety risks for our team members.
Create and ensure that our processes are robust enough to enable our people to produce high quality engines to meet the company standards.
Ensure that our equipment and tools maximize the VA/NVA ratio while taking into consideration our workers reality and using top of the line technologies when needed.
Be heavily involved with product engineers to assure that product characteristics can be manufactured as specified.
As part of the IE/NPD department of a top of the line company innovation and a continuous strive for excellence on a daily basis are a must.
Responsible for delivering assigned project activities on time by working closely with the NPD/NPI team where detecting roadblocks and report on them before mass production is a key responsibility. Follow up and accomplish to KPI for NPD as a Mechanical Introduction Leader
Actively participate in developing and maintaining the FMEA’s to ensure implemented counter-measures to the risks are properly documented in the engines assembly lines.
Help create a continuous improvement culture by using lean manufacturing principles and our BRPMS tools.
Ensure collaboration between the different departments by leading, developing and coaching his teammates to optimize safety, quality, productivity and cost in a fast pace environment.
Take care of the budget by always looking for more than 1 option to assure a quality product at the best price with the best delivery time.
Collaborate enthusiastically in promoting BRP work culture daily by spreading a winning attitude and participating in the CSR activities organized by the company.
Follow BRP values and behaviors
Ensure a safe working environment and take full accountability for all safety related topics

SCHOLARSHIP:
Bachelor in: Engineering
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:
2 years in: Engineering
LANGUAGE:
Fluent in Spanish written and verbal.
English advanced (Min. 80%) written specially
French or german is an advantage.
