Job Description
We are seeking a talented Mechanical Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will design and develop mechanical components and systems specifically for simulation and training equipment. You will work on creating 3D CAD models and detailed 2D engineering drawings using SolidWorks, and conduct performance analysis to support prototyping, testing, and iterative refinement.
Responsibilities
Design and develop mechanical components and systems for simulation and training equipment.Generate 3D CAD models and detailed 2D engineering drawings using SolidWorks.Conduct performance analysis and support prototyping, testing, and iterative refinement.Prepare and interpret mechanical diagrams.Source and integrate COTS hardware and components into larger system builds.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful integration and delivery.Essential Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering Technology.3+ years of relevant engineering and design experience.Strong proficiency with SolidWorks (experience with CATIA or AutoCAD a plus).Ability to perform engineering calculations and tolerance analysis.Ability to travel occasionally (domestic/international).Comfortable with hands-on work, including use of hand tools and lifting up to 25 lbs.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in new product development.Knowledge in sheet metal design.Knowledge in aerospace engineering.Work Environment
The position is based at a manufacturing site focused on flight simulation structures. The role may occasionally require travel, both domestic and international, and involves hands-on work with tools and equipment.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $55.00/hr.
