Job Summary

If you are an order execution and product engineering support professional, Emerson has an exciting role for you! We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to work with our Knife Gate Valve (KGV) engineering team. This role will work independently and as part of a team to execute orders with engineering support for ERP and PLM activities for KGV products. You will work on valve sustainment support, which includes part code and BoM generation, General Arrangement Drawings (GADs), CAD support for ETO and NPD projects, working with suppliers to resolve technical queries and interaction with Project Management, Sales and Production teams.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

Work within an engineering team to create and maintain ERP data in support of order execution at Plant. Prepare order engineering deliverables e.g. technical order review, BoMs, GADs. (60%) Provide CAD support for ETO, and NPD and Sustenance Engineering projects. (30%) Provide product engineering support in aid of manufacturing. (10%)

For This Role, You Will Need:

Minimum 3 to 5 years' proven experience on order execution and product sustainment engineering. Proficient in engineering CAD, PLM tools preferably SolidWorks, Inventor, Autodesk Vault, SolidWorks PDM Pro etc. Sound Experience on ERP systems like SAP, BaaN etc. Good understanding of manufacturing processes, materials used in general mechanical industry. Experience with industrial design standards like ASME/ANSI standards, API, EN etc. Thoroughness in documentation, attention to detail Effectively communicate with Local, Global & cross-functional teams. Fluent in English (both written and verbal) and effectively communicate with Local, Global & cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

Bachelor's Mechanical Engineering Degree or related Engineering CAD tool certificates will be an added advantage.
