Mechanical Engineer
Job Title: Mechanical Engineer Job Description We are seeking a talented Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing heating, ventilation, cooling, plumbing, and refrigeration systems for industrial and commercial buildings. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that these systems meet compliance standards and operate efficiently. Responsibilities + Design heating-ventilation-cooling systems and plumbing systems. + Perform load calculations, life cycle costing, and energy modeling. + Design refrigeration systems for industrial and commercial buildings where food and other perishable goods are stored. + Coordinate with other disciplines and work in a team environment. + Review installation of designed equipment/systems for compliance with construction documents. + Perform duties with multiple projects within established schedules. + Work on a wide variety of project types, scales, and complexity. + Work on concurrent projects. + Prepare construction cost estimates, both in a broad and detailed scope. + Assist in the development of contract specifications and research the application of new procedures and/or products. + Perform all work in a safe and responsible manner, in accordance with the Health and Safety Plan. + Act as a positive representative of the company and its core values. + Perform other duties as assigned. Essential Skills + Proficiency in AutoCAD & Revit + Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Architectural Engineering + Engineer-In-Training (EIT) or Engineer Intern (EI) Certification + 1-4+ years of Mechanical Design experience Work Environment Our office consists of four employees and a few contract employees.
