**Overview** Kimley-Horn is seeking a Mechanical Engineer with4+years of experience to join theTampa office! This is not a remote position. **Responsibilities** + Ability to oversee the HVAC design of projects from concept to completion, including continuous interface with the design team and clients. + Manage and deliver tasks under minimal supervision and guidance. + This is an exciting opportunity to work with a team of engineers and designers on a variety of projects. + You will work closely and collaboratively with other industry leading professionals, various jurisdictions, and contractors. **Qualifications** + 4+ years of related mechanical experience. + Registered Professional Engineer (P.E.) license (or ability to obtain within 12 months) is preferred but not required. + Proven design experience HVAC systems and related controls. + Proven design experience with plumbing systems including water, sewer, and gas is preferred. + Experience producing engineering and energy studies including comcheck & FLACOM. + Experience in Revit is required and experience in AutoCAD is a plus. + Able to manage and deliver tasks under minimal supervision and guidance. + Strong verbal and written communication skills and critical thinking ability. + Ability to work individually or in a multi-discipline team. **Why Kimley-Horn?** At Kimley-Horn, we do things differently.
